Luca Lombroso
Meteorologist, climate communicator and author
About me
I’m an Italian meteorologist, author and public speaker. I work on weather, climate change and environmental communication, helping people understand the science and how it connects to everyday life.
My professional background includes many years at the Geophysical Observatory of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. I have also attended ten United Nations climate conferences, from Copenhagen in 2009 to Belém in 2025.
What I do
I provide weather advice for outdoor events, give talks and take part in educational and environmental projects. I write about weather and climate, including for Meteored.
In my talks, I connect scientific evidence with stories and firsthand experience: from extreme weather in Italy to the tropical forests of Costa Rica.
Books
My books explore weather, climate change and our relationship with the planet. Among them is Attenti al Meteo, winner of the 2023 Premio Ginevra.
